Pokemon Movie 13 Teaser Trailer

You know CyberCubed, you can really be a downer some times
I've been a fan of all the Pokemon films and episodes. People can be excited if they want to, just cuz your not don't be bring your downer on other people who are. Evil Ash if that's what it is looks awesome.

I kinda agree with him. The Pokemon movies don't really provide anything new nor interesting. At best, their good entertainment for children. It basically just the same thing over and over again, and what little trait they have, other anime movies show it a bit better.

The time I'll be interested in this is when they show a Gen V Abomination.

I gotta agree with CyberCubed and Game Freak. I don't hate any of the Pokemon movies, but I've come to expect them to be nothing all that special (animation aside). The trailers look cool but the actual films are generally forgettable. Were not trying to rain on your parade RonDrakenfan17, but that's just how some of us feel about these flicks.

Yeah, what I meant to say is I do get enjoyment out of all the Pokemon movies, but they're never truly amazing pieces of writing like the trailers hype you up to believe.

Everytime a new movie is announced people will always get excited for it, yet in the talkback threaRAB the reviews are always mixed.

We're now 13 years into Pokemon. We all know how the show works, what to expect from the movies. Its not like we're getting ready for some big revamp of the franchise that changes the way Pokemon is forever.

LOL Well we all know Ash never changes his clothes

Yah I gather some of you aren't excited for the movies cuz you feel some of them have been bad. I'm just saying some feel the movies have been good, just cuz some do isn't a bad thing, that's all I'm saying. Though I do respect every ones opinions on this
Like I said if this is an evil Ash, should be good. Its never been done in a Pokemon movie before, if it centures on him that'd be even better. Guess will wait and see eh? My theorys could be wrong.

I mean, for some people it really will be the greatest Pokemon movie ever. But don't get your hopes up too high. Especially at this point in time, where we barely know anything about this movie.

"Evil" Ash (assuming this character is evil, because we really don't know that for sure either) and whoever the star of the movie is are the only things that really interest me about the movie so far. (Now I do think "Evil" Ash will appear in the movie, but I don't know how.) Not that I think the movie won't be good, but I'll need more information. Which I won't have for a while. But at least we have more info than before...

(Freakin' teaser trailers... always having to tease people...)

Except for when a new generation comes up and he travels to a new region, with the exception of the Orange IslanRAB and Johto of course.

I'm honestly looking foreword to this movie. I've always been able to enjoy Pokemon movies. Even some of my least favorite movies, such as the Giratina and Dexoys movies, are fun to watch at the very least. I'm mainly expecting another fun movie since I haven't been bored watching one of the movies yet.

I'm especially interested in this Phantom Ruler Z since it's quite possible that it's a new Pokemon. The initial teaser trailer for this movie has showed just Celebi and the legendary dogs, similar to how the eighth movie, when it was first revealed, focused on Mew. In fact, if I remeraber correctly, the first trailer for the eighth movie also showed Mew flying around as if it was being chased, similar to Celebi. Plus, Lugia's codename when news of the second movie came around was "X". Of course, it isn't set in stone, but I noticed those similarities between the two trailers so it is possible. We won't know for sure until a second trailer or poster comes up, just as there wasn't a sign of Lucario for the eighth movie until the second teaser trailer came.

And this is probably coming from someone who thought the first Pokemon film was going to be the end of Ash's adventures. I'm with CyberCubed on this. Even if we don't get Evil Ash and we have to deal with more of the Johto legendaries that had their share of the films, sans Raikou he's not important (a TV special was good enough), Movie 12 should've been it. I've read and heard about Arceus being the rumored God of Pokemon which has now been proven untrue in the Movie 12 board but hey, I wouldn't mind the series coming to an end. Even if Ash's adventures had to be in manga form, it's time for change.

I've read that some people wanted a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series. Okay, I wouldn't mind that considering that the voices fit the Pokemon personalities. A new Pokemon series with an all-new batch of characters: I can go for that. The problem is that some of us outgrew the anime but not the video games, some had outgrown from both and some of us still have nostalgia and want to see Ash continut to improve even if it means that every season, he's displayed as still a novice. All of these opinions I've read through the forums and really, I wish and hope that one day we can all come up with a definite reply to how we would like the series to continue, how it would end, and how it can be revived after giving the series a break for about 10, 15, 20 years even though the series celebrated it's 10 anniversary last year, give or take.

I want to say they do some Back to the Future II thing with Celebi and come to an alternate timeline with an Ash that's a jerk or something. That's the only way to explain why this "evil" Ask looks exactly like regular Ash.

But again, I agree that this could just be teaser BS that never actually makes it into the film.

BTW, is it me or does Entei kinda look a bit shoujo-ish with its wavy mane and stuff?

That would be interesting, but I kind of doubt that. The Entei from the third movie was technically not a real Pokemon, but rather an illusion. That and the fact that they needed it to talk in order for the story to work were the reasons why that Entei talked. I would imagine that none of the legendary dogs will be able to talk in this movie.

They could do that if they have a remake for Ruby and Sapphire in the future. The main reason why they had another movie with Mew was because of the FireRed and LeafGreen games. It's the same case with bringing back some of the Johto legendary Pokemon due to HeartGold and SoulSilver.

Hmmmm... I think it's been said before, butt I'll say it again, but it's ture:

Evil Ash?!?! Holy Crap, This Is Awesome!!!!!!

On another note, it appears that Ho-Oh will not be in the movie (like I thought).

Wasn't evil Ash in BF just some sort of Yami Yugi/Nine-Tail-Fox thing, instead of a separate entity as shown in this trailer? I'll admit that if it's a doppleganger like the trailer is, it is different take on it as far as Pokemon goes.

Nah, I'm pretty sure.

My thoughts on evil Ash at the moment would be that he looks like some kind of Shadow version of Ash. ...I'm not realy sure how that would make any sense giving the legendaries that we saw, but you never know what "Z" could be.
