I want to know why the BBC has such a fetish for moving Dragons Den round the schedules.

Last series it was moved 3 times during the run and again 3 times this series now showing up on Sundays.
 
Why are you defending the indefensible?

They know when most sports are on way in advance.

Also there are plenty of programmes that are shown at a time that doesn't get changed due to sport.

They have treated 'Monk' poorly.

There have been very few shows people have had to complain about being moved.
 
They treat practically all US imports like shit, except the one they should have treated like shit, Heroes post S1. What can you expect of a channel that even treats The Wire like some kind of embarassment to be snuck out around midnight?

I can't stand any more of the BBC's "even handed" attitude to letters about programmes.

The worst any programme will get is a balanced number of those of "effusive praise" with those of "mild criticism." The latter read with a "Victor Meldrew" voice.

I bet nothing's changed.
 
So you think they shouldn't be able to have a think about the answers? Perhaps they take the complaint and give someone time to - you know - actually look into it and give a considered response.

I don't know. I always assumed (not having seen the programme for a while until recently) that they got the actual person who wrote the letter to record it. I think I was wrong about that. They did ask me if I wanted to record by video the email I sent in but I declined as I don't have good enough one that always seems to be out of sync for some reason.


And the answer, quite obviously I would have thought, is no.
 
LOL Complaints about the results show of Strictly being padded out.

I know it's only 15-20 mins or so, but seriously... who watches a programme they don't enjoy; even for 20 mins? :confused:

I don't get why people get upset. It'll be shown at another time, the live sport can't be shown later as it won't be live.

And they just so happen to have a horror season on BBC4.

It reminRAB me of political meetings where a prospective MP plants a supporter in the audience to ask a "difficult" question for which they have a pre-prepared excellent response. (remember, this is "telly").

Worth reading the thread before posting. UC was ditched for recorded highlights, not live play, so that HL show could have been shortened or shown in the slot after Newsnight where it
