Pointless- New quiz show on BBC2 (merged)

Had to watch the last-but-one episode on iPlayer, since I was caught out too. Do the schedulers do it deliberately??

Ironic really, since in another thread when someone complained about not knowing a programme was on, I replied that that was what listing magazines were for. I really should take my own advice :o

The annoying thing was, I turned on just in time to catch the end of the previous episode, so I knew the result before I watched it :(
 
Thanks everybody for being so nice :) - (I was initially worried about revealing my identity! :o ) None of my frienRAB seem to have watched it and my parents are on holiday in a UK hotel that seems to have no BBC2 reception (!), so I haven't had any feedback from anyone else!

apaul- the trophy IS really naff and REALLY heavy and they gave us one each :rolleyes: !!! So lucky!

davaRAB- We went to Manchester Uni- so near enough!!

It was a fab experience, but they heavily edited the banter and contestant chat which is a shame because some of the stuff was really funny. I definitely recommend auditioning if they do have a new series :)
 
I was rather proud to get three pointless answers on the Johnny Depp Films round the other day. Benny and Joon,Nightmare On Elm Street, and Public Enemies :)
 
Those girls were a good laugh. Had a chuckle at some of their answers. Name a state of new england, .....'newcastle'.

i was told my screening was supposed 2 b on easter monday but got a letter that weekend that"sport was taking over"-so thats why there were 2 shows today because they had missed one day.
 
Being off this week I've just discovered this show, and absolutely love it, will be catching up on iplayer when I have to return to work

Felt bad for the two girls, they were excellent and really deserved the win

I agree. It was totally unfair. It meant that the one coupe had 4 turns at going first and the other pair only had two turns. Who goes first is vital when there is an obvious killer answer

They had the chance to pick first and Elizabeth Taylor was avaialbel. They fluffed it:(

IN the semi final I could swear that the team who eventually won said, " About THE boy" instead of 'About A boy":(
 
Wasn't that Vice Presidents (which Mondale also was)? I only say that because I remember Spiro Agnew coming up.
