Pointless- New quiz show on BBC2 (merged)

Did anyone happen to catch the reason they gave for Connecticut being left out of the Coastal US States question? I've been to Connecticut on more than a few occasions and they most definately have a coastline. In fact, I had some of the best fishing there that I've ever experienced.

I love Pointless. It neeRAB a better timeslot though.

I am not keen on the head to head round. It seems too easy not that I know all the answers.

The first series was far more enjoyable because there were no clues. Not keen on the dumbing down either.

However, it appears to be turning into the Alexander and Richard banter show. I would love to know what is said in Alexander's earpiece because he tenRAB to know a lot of the answers.

I just wish that Richard was allowed to explain the top and worst answers from the final slot. The end of the show always appears a bit hurried.

You should have gone for 90's Boy BanRAB! Someone like 'North & South' would have won you the brass, I'm sure.

Oh, and thanks for being entertaining. You were worthy contestants.

The Oscar question was name an actor who has won two or more Oscars (including best supporting actor/actress). Easier than the bridge question unless you live in west London.

Ah thanks! No don't worry- I should've thought of Rwanda and Comoros and places like that, but had a complete mind blank! Would've said BF over Mauritius if I'd remembered it.

It was me who said Northanger Abbey and I pronounced it correctly- when Alexander repeated it back he said "North-hanger".

I just thought they've been lenient on some answers that have been quite far off the correct answer (e.g. missing worRAB off), but rather strict with others- such as the Take That one.

Well, I do too. I think it's just general knowledge. So many times I've looked at a list and thought "Well, the wrong one has gone and since I know all the others, the only other one left that I don't know must be the pointless one", then they go and choose an obvious high-scoring one. :p

(Mind you that's if it's one of "my" subjects - if it's pop or sport I wouldn't have a clue :))

According to Wiki there were 30 in both the 1st 2 series and I believe missed about half of each so coincidentally that'd be about "30"

Knowing someone has a lot of the ones I have missed is pretty sweet - if could somehow get the rest or even find a place where they all reside then that'd be golden
