please tell me why the iphone is so revolutionary?

There is no end all phone, never will be. It has features that are better than others and some than aren't. To say it has to be better than every phone in existance is retarded.

You missed the point againt on the video games, I'm saying I think anyone that spends 600 + games + accessories is retarded, but I don't value games at all. Just necause you don't value mobile devices and media players the same dosen't make the phone awful as you imply.

It all comes down to personal preference, many value the OS and ease of use, storage, media player, browser, LCD ETC and find it priced according to what you would pay accordingly to get the same in similar products

there are only a few sdhc readers available. the cards themselves are expensive, and its slower to use. and one more thing to carry around.

my goal is for someone to implement a portable storage device like the epson p-5000 and a pda phone into one. being able to use your phone to download photos too (mass amounts not a random shot here or there) would be extremely beneficial to my field. but its probably years away.

Most of this has been beaten to death already.

The 8525 obviously has a lot of features, many that aren,t needed by the avg consumer, and I sure as hell don,t want a plastic brick with a awful media player.

No access to a computer or power outlet? I don,t know where you travel, but even in the third world where electricity is shut off for hours in a day and heavy useage I can keep a battery charged.

Its not for everyone, and so many of you put your dismay for it as reasons the avg consumer shouldn't buy it

did you really think in 5 minutes you'd master the keyboard? read any real review and they all admit that after a day or two its just as fast and way more efficent with their auto spell check.

you realize the last statement is true for every fucking phone

dont worry about a card reader for it. if it had a spot for memory, just use the phone usb cable like you have to currently. you dont have to carry it around if it is inside your phone.

i bet since the iphone is fairly big (not a knock on the iphone, just saying) that they could even find the space for a normal sd card in there.

what i am saying is you could have just as much memory with expandable memory plus the option for more if you choose. if you would like more memory then then you can get a bigger or extra card. if you dont want to carry around extra memory then dont, but at least the option is there. yes the phone has the most on board memory available, but you are able to take another phone and give it more memory

sorry, i didn't know what to refer it to as, i felt it was closer to a smartphone than a regular phone.

like i said, i'm no iphone expert, i don't own one.. it simply interested me cause i do like apple, so i went and played around with it in the store for 10-15 minutes, and from that i gave my little mini review there. i think it deffinetly has some ways to go, but that doesn't mean compared to some of the other phones i've had/seen/played with, it hasn't made some major leaps imo.
