Playing my iPod in my car...?

get an FM transmitter. it plugs into the headphone jack and than emits a signal that you can just tune in on your car radio and pick it up just like an FM station. just be sure to get a good one that uses more frequency options. or can output at more than one frequency, so that if you can find an open space on your FM dial easier.
 
If I bought a little ipod docking station, like a cheap one that runs on batteries and put it in my car, would this work?
