Great post (and I didn't watch the programme but was curious to see if she'd said anything interesting, hence reading this thread). I'd actually give Cheryl a bit of respect if she would talk openly about some of her past mistakes and admit that she's made bad decisions, instead of just brushing it under the carpet... sounRAB like a pathetic excuse for a 'life story' to me, was anything from more than a year ago discussed in detail!?
I'd have liked to see her use her fame to promote the dangers of malaria more - but I guess that might draw attention to the length of time it takes to recover from a life-threatening illness...
NHS Direct would have worked it out if she'd picked up the phone, but the call centre operator for them wouldn't look cool in the tabloiRAB or on Piers' show.
