Piers Morgan's Life Stories: Cheryl Cole

Um someone mentioned the viewing figures for this show, as if it proves how great she is.

Nice little bit of promotion for Cheryl tonight. The tears in particular were pretty effective - she should be pretty pleased with that as she's sure to go to Number 1 now. It was a good move to not mention the incident where she punched a toilet attendant... that would have ruined the whole image they were going for.
 
I love watching Kylie, Amy Whinehouse, Del boy, Madonna....I could go on..
It's ok to 'dislkike' someone you know. The last I heard all those above people have 'done well' in life.
Cheryl was crying before she did the Piers Morgan show apparently, & had to be coaxed to go on with the show.
Sorry but it's pathetic. I dont think I have ever seen someone so attention seeking. Apart from Wayne Rooney of course..
 
she really is nothing special, with all her money and having had malaria. Shouldn't she be campaigning to make it more aware across the world. I know she does charity sometimes, but this would show a genuine kind person not a media whore.
 
I have no time for her, so didn't watch last night but what really gets me annoyed is not so much her, but what she represents.

She represents the celebrity driven, media manipulated, false, insincere, greedy, money obsessed, dumb down country that we live in.

At what point did the country decide that she would be the 'people's princess'? or the 'nation's sweetheart'? Who decided that but a few media moguls who can now sell us even more of their rubbish ever time they carry a picture of the 'nation's sweetheart'.

Did she have malaria? I don't know, but it does seem she was a death's door one day with this very serious, deadly disease, yet a few weeks later is back healthy and fit and in a tv studio. Something just doesn't add up. But Piers isn't t going to asking any serious questions about it, he is on the same gravy train.

I did have a quick look at her page on Wikipedia to try and find out what exactly happened with that toilet attendant, but I couldn't see anything. Ok wikipedia shouldn't be taken as gospel, but no mention of it on there, no mention it would seem last night, almost as if it didn't happen.

I don't hate Cheryl, she is being manipulated just as we all are, she is making plenty of money out of it right enough, but at some point some other 'nation's sweetheart' will appear, and she will be last weeks news. I hate the sort of nation we have become where we idolise the likes of Cheryle Cole. We have it in our own hanRAB however to change all this. Stop buying the magazines, stop watching the tv programmes, and we can stop this sort of nonsense.
 
Well the comparison would be with others in the same series of programs, not Jade Goody's funeral which is a one off.

Not that ratings prove whether people like or dislike her, they're simply interested or the weather's a bit cack or there's 'nothing' on the other side.

Only if one is feeling sorry for one self.

I was misdiagnosed with lung cancer and told I had 3 months to live (obviously I had a 2nd opinion and it was a misdiagnosis - thank goodness). lWhen I tell people the story, I don't start crying, I talk about it as a normal person would.

Why would I cry about it? I'm here and alive - I'm happy and so should she be.

I could not understand why she was crying. It was all for show and for us to feel sorry for her. This interview showed her in a different light for me and I've gone off her quite a bit.
 
Why people choose to support someone with NO talent is beyond me? someone who is conning people into buying music written for her that she can barely sing. She only lives for the media attention, yet she complains when the media say negative stuff. Really she is despicable

And then she exaggerates her illness. I knew someone a similar age who got malaria in Africa, it wasn;t too serious but couldn't fly for a certain period of time and took about 6 months till they were fully recovered. And my housemate is studying to become a doctor and is fuming at her blatent lies. No way could she be fully recovered in such a short period and time and be able to travel across the world numerous times. Honestly just so she can get the media to empathize with her? how desperate.

Maybe if she had a talent she wouldn't need to resort to such things.

She's a human being who is manipulating young women who hang on her every word. She represents everything that is odious about our current pop culture.
