(Title shoud be worst bond FILMS)

Now I have not got anything against Mr. Brosnan but would you agree that all of his bond films except Goldeneye were pretty rubbish.

I think he could of been a better bond but the writers seemed to of made him far to chessy.

What do you think.

Weaker than The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day? I think not. Thank god they changed things for Casino Royale. The BEST thing about CR is the size of the story, it's quite small and contained rather than another mental plot about the world ending or something.

actually thought the world is not enough was easily Brosonan's best bond film in many ways: tommorrow never dies was pretty naff and die another day, as watchable as I found it, was pretty naff I guess

Sorry but I have to disagree. i thing Tomorrow Never Dies is definately the best Brosnan Bond film. Great action sequences and a topical plot that has a dig at media moguls.

The problem is Pierce's films felt like TV movies rather than big blockbusters. DAD is not a great film, but I was really excited before its release becasue it seemed they were going huge with it. I love baddies with enormous hideouts

Casino Royale was fantastic. People say it took bond in a new direction, but actually I would say it took Band back to the 1960s. It felt like a Sean Connery Bond film and i hope they maintain that

i think he was a really good Bond but unfortunately he was let down by lousy scripts that made his latter 2 films the weakest in the series.

'Goldeneye' was great, 'tomorrow never days' was a decent action movie but let down by having a weak/forgettable bad guy, i dont remember a single thing from 'The World is not enough' and the almost sci fi direction of 'die another day' was one of the worst ideas in Bond since 'Moonraker'

it is a pity they never made another film in the with him because i would have liked to have seen what he could do with some decent material (like what was rumoured at the time)

Oh good! I'm not the only one who thinks TND was Brosnan's best. The Pre-credits sequence is a classic example of all the aspects that make good cinema.

After that I would say Goldeneye, The World is not enough and Die another Day in order.

Die another day really did reach a nadir with gadgets and things, frankly the invisible car could have been removed entirely from the plot and it would have made little or no difference. The Beach Boys Surfing skit when he escaped from the Ice Palace was also daft and the compositing obvious. The nice thing you can say about Bond is that the stunts are really done with no CGI trickery. Not so here.

Brosnan was my favourite bond by far

all his films for me were really good and goldeneye was fantastic

I think roger moore and timothy dalton to be very poor bonRAB and their films by far the worst in the series

Timothy Dalton was one of the best and closest to how Bond was in the books.

As for Brosnan, decent Bond, but Die Another Day was just terrible.

I would agree 100% with your first comment about Dalton....he was very underrated and did very well getting Bond back on track after the last few Moore films....shame the studio was going through legal dramas and didn't promote them the way they should have done. Also there was a lot of competiton around.

Tomorrow Never Dies was one of the weaker Bond films.....the Elliot Carver character was more like a pantomime character !!

Thankfully after Die Another Day and those magic cars the producers had a total rethink and didn't give into Brosnan's financial demanRAB !!

After to say though that in Money terms...and that's what the studios do....Brosnan's films were a big success....the Billion Dollar Bond !

For me the worst Bond films (yes this is off topic !) are Diamond are Forever (Connery just going through the motions) and View to a Kill (way too old Roger !)

While TND was poor ,TWINE was a bit better and DAD was just too OTT in so many ways,Goldeneye is one of my favourites alongside Goldfinger ,OHMSS and The Spy Who Loved Me

Perhaps it's time for threaRAB on....

Best and Worst Bond films....

Best and Worst Bond Villains...

Best and Worst Bond Girls....etc :)

It's almost topical seeing as ITV are showing...and of course screwing up.....a season of Bond films.....supposed to be in order but aleardy have missed out FRWL...my fave #1 Bond film !:(
