do you believe that there is a difference when the photographer's subject is something/someone he loves and when the subject is just a subject?

if yes, how can i see the difference? i mean, what are the things in the photograph to determine how the photographer feels about the subject?

I suppose it depends on how the subject is portrayed in the photograph and the way they come across. I mean things including body language, their pose, the lighting (is it dark and mysterious or light and cheery?)...

It's like when you look at something, people tend to 'judge a book by its cover', so the overall look and mood it brings to that person is important. You can make things look mysterious by using awkward angles, contrasting light and dark, hiding the subjects face, etc. The opposite could be done to create the opposite effect I suppose...

Hope this helps. xxxxxxxxxxx

Yes, I believe so, I think when A photographer, much like his painter and sketch artist counterparts, sees details differently and will focus more closely on the parts of the object which he/she loves the most.
Maybe it's the eyes, or the finger tips, perhaps the shape of a mouth, or if it's in nature, the focus of the particular item may be centered differently.

I think the very best way to see is to look at the artists other works.
But in my opinion, you won't have to, you won't have to pick out details, when an artist truly loves or feels strongly about his/her subject you will look and say, I can't put my finger on it but I really love this picture.

For me, I love my job, I love the feel of the camera in my hands, I love the lives that become memories as soon as they pass through my shutter and I love making each one perfect and being able to deliver them and know that the people I'm giving them too will look upon that photo and love it, not because of me, but because I brought them a cherished memory..
