...did it come about? There is apparently a large knife culture in London, with a lot of public stabbings. This seems to be especially prevalent in East London, the borough of Tower Hamlets. Then you saw what happened recently at Upton Park (in London as well) against Millwall. A friend of mine has also been stabbed by a bunch of hooligans when he was coming back from a Spurs Arsenal match in the past. And there are so many hooligans on the streets at night, it is especially not safe for college students.

Chavs. I used to love going to London with friends to go Museums, Harrods, etc. But we don't now, because we're simply too scared.

Guns were made illegal in England. People are violent by nature. A knife will injure or kill. Thus people use knives.


People are the problem. Not the weapons. Gun control is simply a control measure and not meant to stop violence at all.
