Paul O Grady - Live- Itv1

I thought Harry Hills's routine with the vent doll went down like a lead balloon..as did his gags about Susan Boyle. Shame as I like TV Burp. Then he buggered off..normally the guests shift up on the sofa.
 
I couldn't understand how he'd sold out about 60 gigs in a very short time
and how much money they were fetching on ebay at that time! :confused:
 
Can you name any that are any good? "Dickinson's Real Deal" ?

There is a a reason for them being "Dayitme" !

I watched, thinking it was going to be a filthy version of his five O'clock Show, but it was just a carbon copy on at 9pm.
 
I watched Kim's interview but must admit i turned over after that!.. i didn't know or care!. who Nicole is and wasn't interested in Peter Kaye or even dare i say Enrique!...:eek:

It's a shame because i used to really enjoy Pauls show at 5 o clock, but i just can't seem to get into this one!...it just doesn't feel right!.... :(
 
Yeah I wasn't a massive fan of pretty much anything that HH said. You sort of felt like someone needed to tap him on the shoulder and remind him that he wasn't on TV Burp. But I do like TV Burp.

I couldn't bear to watch Joe. Thirty seconRAB of him grinning awkwardly/irritatingly and him telling Paul to "change it! it's your set *annoying grin* " was enough for me.

Oh, and one final thing. Did anyone else find that the whole "Paul is being tied up for a magic trick - QUICK! MAKE A REFERENCE TO HIS HOMOSEXUALITY, OR HIM 'LIKING THIS', OR THIS 'TAKING HIM BACK' " joke got very old very fast? It's like: yeah, we get it. You've been tied up. It's funny first time, but there's only so many times I can hear Kate Thorton say "I bet you like that" before I start having visions of the producers sitting around a table making mindmaps that read "gay -> fetish -> bondage -> magic trick -> hilarity shall surely ensue".

I do like Paul, though. It just seems everyone else on the show is incredibly annoying. (I didn't watch Michael Macintyre, but I can't stand him either...)
 
Does anyone know when it is recorded? I would guess there are emergency meetings being convened now to get something done before next weeks show.
 
First show in, and already we have an act each from both XF and BGT getting yet more airtime from ITV :yawn:

ITV are a joke, all they care about is promoting acts from their own reality shows. They think we just want to watch such 'celebs' all day.
 
No, it's presumptious of the show's producers. It's the presumption forced upon us by constant references to Paul's ~crazy~ former life of sexual liberation. You wouldn't get that with Jonathan Ross or Parky.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind it. I just think it was really overdone last night with the bondage references.

It was no different from any of the other 49 C4 shows.

Dawn French? Again?

And two dance acts from ITV talent shows?

Even, Countdown can can get better guests.
