He is 19 months old and I want to start trying to potty train him. He is familiar with his potty. I take him in the bathroom with me and sit him on it while I'm on my potty. I've tried twice now when I notice that he is starting to try to do #2 to take him to his potty chair. He will only sit on it for a few seconds at a time. He just keeps getting up. I don't know how to make him understand that I want him to sit on it and go potty. I tell him to stinky in the potty but he's not getting it.
