a buddy of mine has a 12" kicker solo baric L5 with dual 4-ohm voice coils, does anyone know how to wire the sub so that it will present a 4-ohm load to the amp? any info will be appreciated. thanks
amp negative to one vc negative amp positive to the other vc positive. then a jumper wire from neg to pos across both coils wah lah 4 ohm with both coils wired
if u want a dual 4 ohm sub to see a 4 ohm load on the amp, just wire up one set of the voice coils on the sub and it will be 4 ohm, example use one positive, and one negative, and it will b 4 ohm., or if ur wanting to run the amp in stereo instead of mono u hook one voice coil up to left channel, other voice coil to right channel.
