If the police had a video of you murdering someone that would not be enough to prove you murdered someone. Not even close. They would still need to have physical evidence eg a body, weapon etc. They would need to show motive and put the suspect at the scene via another method eg dna, blood stains or something. A video would be great grounds for arrest and search warrants but in no way would constitute proof beyond reasonable doubt.
