Outlook (Non-exchange) sync

Ahh! You're modded (I was under the assumption you were stock), that throws everything out the window. Cyanogen's mod should have an app called "Work Email" which has exchange support. Have you tried that?

Okay, so is it in the rom? Is it supposed to be under "Account & sync" -> "Add account" -> "Corporate"?
That is the one I've been trying but with no luck, but should it say "Work email" or is it an app I can download somewhere?

Yeah, it's suppose to be in the rom. I don't know exactly how it'll show up since I haven't run Cyan's 2.1-based rom on my N1 yet.

Anyone want to help out here?

Some slight corrections here...

Android 2.0+ has Exchange support (Nexus One, Droid, etc).

SenseUI has better Exchange support (HTC Desire, Hero?, etc).

Some apps have exchange support (Touchdown, etc).

My point is, that the Nexus One (for example) doesn't have SenseUI, but it does have Exchange support from Android.

Yep, true. But can we expect that google in future updates will make the stock android with exchange support which is as good as sense's exchange?

Im gonna ask a question here
If my webhost doesn't support exchange, what are my options besides setting it up myself?
Could I use for example Google for this although I have my email somewhere else?
Could I buy this service from someone else although my webhost handles my emails?
