Out Of The Three Show Seth MacFarlane Is Known For...

Family Guy. American Dad is okay to watch, but I really don't like the alien's character that much. And from what I've seen of the Cleveland show, it's just not that interesting. Cleveland never was interesting to begin with.

Plus I like Stewie.

Family Guy. Call me crazy, but I'm just amused by Peter's wacky antics, and I love Stewie.

I watched the first season of American Dad off and on, but it never really grabbed me in the same way. And truthfully I haven't watch The Cleveland Show at all. I liked Cleveland as a supporting character, but I just don't have any interest in seeing him star in his own show.

Family Guy. It's mindless fun, and a good choice for letting your mind relax before another week of work/school/what have you.

I like American Dad, but its starting to feel too Steve/Stan focused. Its watchable, but I want to see the other characters get some spotlight. Roger is hilarious despite his high dislikeability.

I've only seen a few episodes of The Cleveland Show, and I'm not feeling it. There's only one episode I truly enjoyed, while the rest was as forgettable as the episode of The Simpsons that precedes it. The entire hour is basically just a time killer for the 9pm hour it seems.

Family Guy first, American Dad second and Cleveland Show is in third.

Family Guy for making me laugh, American Dad for being a show with some plot and a story to it, and Cleveland it hasn't wowed me yet despite the fact that I like a few episodes, most of the jokes are hit or miss with one joke that redeems them all.

Family Guy.

American Dad is just sporadically funny to me. Also, there is something about the American Dad characters that I find completely unlikeable. It's just not funny seeing Stan or Francine do horrible things to people compared to somebody who is supposed to be a complete idiot like Peter.

Cleveland show just needs to find it's groove. So far, it's been horrible.

American Dad. It has almost always been funny to me. This season, however, it has seemed to be on a slow yet steady decline. But I don't think it's worn out its welcome just yet.

Family Guy has been on a roll this season, but I've found it to be hit and miss in general for the past few years.

Cleveland is still in its first season, and it has had its moments, but it has been pretty meh for me. I think it needs a bit more time before I really decide to drop it or not.

I like all three. Was a big Family Guy fan during seasons 1-3, then it seemed to lose a little steam during seasons 4-7 while American Dad came to the forefront. As of late, Family Guy is back in charge, not that American Dad has been bad, but for the last few seasons FG has been delivering more laughs. And The Cleveland Show is great too, it just needs more time and is now up against a rejuvenated FG and a still great American Dad, which makes it a lot tougher for it to stand out.

That video is poking fun at the traditional animated sitcom formula more than anything.
Not all three shows are exactly the same.

No, it's pointing out some aspects that really are especially common in McFarlanes shows, such as the awkward kids and the over the top "creatures that shouldn't be able to talk" characters. And it's pretty spot on.

Nevertheless, i will maintain till the day i die that the first two seasons of Family Guy are among the cleverest TV comedies of all time.
