OT to all you haters

this is one of those ymmv things i guess, someone tried to go on a binge
with one of our debit cards, our card is on an account that is joined with
another, so the account the card is on has a balance each month to pay some
auto pays, and if we want to use the card he transfers money from one to the
other, when the charges started coming in the bank called us immediately and
the number you call them back on is 24/7 so neither the bank or our account
were ever out of money, but if the cc's work for you that wprks for me, you
aren't charging them up then whining about not being able to pay them off,

Yep, they never eat their kill. And sometimes they kill each other.

Zackly!

People who use the word "Hate" for something like tattoos and mean it
are nothing more than another version of racist. They deny it just
like most racists also.

What they are saying is that they HATE anyone who dares to have skin
that is different than theirs. If you could get the truth from them
about the issue, you'd find that they are also the other type of skin
color hater also.

Most cover it up with quaint little phrases like "I'm not a racist or
anything, but "they" are so different than us that I really believe
they would be more happy with others of their kind", and bullshit like
that.

Saying "I think anyone who has tattoos has mutilated their body" or "I
hate every tattoo I see. They are body disfigurement" are saying
nothing more than they hate someone else's skin coloring.

I've even asked what it is that makes them hate tattoos and they get
defensive just like racists and claim "I don't have to justify
anything to you!".

Ha! It's because there is no justification they can think of other
than they hate another person skin coloring and they're ashamed to say
so because it makes them sound just like a racist.

Mostly, just as with racists, its a fear they can't control. They are
afraid of the person with the tattoos because they've formed an idea
in their mind about how that person is, without having even met them.

Just like racists.

Their evasions crack me up. Anyone who has heard a racial bigot make
lame excuses about why *they* hate people this color or that color, or
from this area or that area can see the similarity in the people who
say they hate tattoos regardless of who has them.

responsible usage, this is a good example of how it should be done, but
even beyond using them responsibly i fret over the stupid thing for the two
weeks i have to pay it, its more about owing, not the interest or for how
long, just not right for me, but again, ymmv, Lee

It's a mattes of taste, but for all my life I have had what seems an
instinctive distaste for deliberate mutilation like tattoos and
extension of earlobes and lips as among some primitive tribes. I always
preferred not to look at pictures from societies where tattoos were
celebrated like the Maori of New Zealand. Rather than watch an actor
with extensive tattooing, I will still shut off the movie. I'm not all
that fond of indiscriminate piercing either like nose and lip rings.
People can do what they want without my active opposition but I will do
my best to avoid certain things. I guess I got used to ear rings even if
my wife did not like pierced ears either but allowed my daughter to have
them.
