OT to all you haters

You don't trim either... look at that mess of attributions you left.
Hardly anyone makes an effort to properly trim attributions... one can
only assume that most folks here are economizing by not using TP. I
trimmed only your attribution to indicate how it should be done.

and that is the crux of the matter, you can't live like its a party when you
retire, but you can also not live on "someday isle" fact is too many people
die suddenly... for me knowing if i kick the bucket sitting here at the
computer, dh will of cours have funeral details and greif to deal with, but
the routine stuff that others have to deal with in the way of monthly bills
will not be there to burdon him, and if he doesn't get out of bed this
morning, i know what we have in the way of bills and can take care of it all
in aabout a half hour a month in the bank... we aren't rich either, but we
are careful and our motto is sav e where we can so we can spend where we
want.

Oh, okay... you base your assumptions about rfc chat on what happened
elsewhere. Do you plan on entering rfc chat and being a royal jerk?
If not, you'll survive - you may even want to return. It's up to you.
If you don't have the nerve to try it, no problem - but don't
complain.

You have it assbackwards. People that are not well thought of here
are able to go into rfc chat and become real, likable, human beings.

It's up to you, but what chaps my hide is when people like
you make uncalled for assumptions based on something that didn't
happen there.
Cube steak, mashed potatoes with gravy and salad tonight.

Ahh... I see. A tattoo is the new uniform to express oneself and letting

I have never seen a tattoo that I was impressed with. I will admit that
they look better when they are new than they do when they get old and
faded and start disappearing into fat, wrinkly skin. Anyone
contemplating getting a tattoo should be reminded that they are
permanent and that looks attractive on young skin will not look good on
grandma skin

FWIW... I was at the gym today and there was a woman who had one of
those very original barbed wire tattoos on her upper arm, and probably
had. it down around the time Pamela Anderson had her's done. It is no
longer a deep black. It was more grey-blue. and it jiggled when she
moved her arms.

they aren't as bad as they used to be... the advent of cell phone cameras
and a couple of good lawsuits kinda cut that back, there was a recent case
of a guy who went over the speed limit several times on a three or four
hundred mile trip... when he returned the car there was a printout, it
showed the occurences of over the limit driving and the time he was over...
they charged some hidious amount per occurence and for the elapsed time...
never mind most of them were passing people on the hwy... bill was like two
grand... last i heard it was in court both for wrongfully charging him and
"spying" on him by having a gps in the car without revealing it... also
nothing in the original paperwork to indicate the is i a company policy...
it was a very interesting case.

I hope you never need to rent a car,... means yours is running

Dan Abel wrote about his brother's death

My brother-in-law retired at 39. He went into the Air Force right after
high school, and served his 20 years, so he could retire at half pay. It
didn't work well for him, as he died a few months after retirement.

[It was an] Accident. He was stung by a bee. He was allergic, and it
killed him. He was having some nerve problems with his lungs, and that
contributed. Still, he seemed pretty healthy. He had been accepted to a
college, and was going to study engineering in the Fall.

Julie's reply was:

Wow! That's scary. I am very glad I outgrew my bee allergy.

Felice responds:

Julie, it's interesting that instead of offering sympathy, you chose to
bring up your own "bee allergy". Think about it.

AMEX is good to do business with. Recently , I was mistakenly double
charged for something online, sent them an email and at the same time
AMEX, they had removed the extra charge from my account before the
company had corrected their mistake.I also use the card for almost all
shopping items here in the US. Each month it is paid off.

don't get me wrong, i am sure i would enjoy it once there, and according to
the dh i would love germany and italy, ... and while not opposed, it has
never been one of those bucket lists things for me... if it ever occurs that
the right boat ride comes along i won't mind going, the dh has a close
relative that is in a lay religious group in italy that does musical
productions, wouldn't mind hearing that...

Barbara, I think you were in chat a few times (this was a few years ago)
when we were talking about different types of and Julie was in the chat
room. Anything we mentioned was met with "ewwww!" or "I can't [won't?] eat
that" or "I'm allergic to that". Everything we talked about drew similar
responses from her. It got old very fast.
