Whoa. That's some serious short-term memory loss and disconnect between
self-perception and actions there, dude. It's pretty bad.
Sheldon-level bad. I'd suggest seeking competent professional help for
whatever issues it was that caused that. Dumping on random strangers or
semi-strangers on RFC is not gonna help you out, and it certainly doesn't
help the community out.
ObFood: The enchiladas appear to be turning into a (minor) saga. I had
meetings in the evenings after work so was doing tasks in pieces. I
grated the cheese on Monday. Yesterday in the morning I roasted asparagus
and left the pan out. My intent was to come home from my Tuesday meeting
and assemble. Unfortunately when I got home last night the asparagus -
which was perfectly roasted when I left - looked yellow and shriveled.
Retained heat? Extra-warm kitchen? I dunno. The resting spot was quite
sunny, the day was warm, and I left in on the pan. Obviously
not a S-M-R-T move on my part. So the farm-box spinach is being pressed
into service. I was going to make a pie with it but whatevs. I might
try making some with roast butternut squash as well (the farm box has been
providing me a lot of squash lately).
The asparagus or spinach enchiladas are based on a favorite special from a
local Cal-Mex place; filling is cheese, black beans, and the veg,
container is corn tortillas, enchilada sauce is green. Asparagus in
season, spinach other times of the year. (For locals: Christopher's
Nothing Fancy Cafe in Albany, across from UC Village.)
