Good deal if it works good.

If you are only using it on ONE dual 4 ohm voice coil sub, the amp only makes 200 watts @ 2 ohms.

I saw it somewhere for 70 dollars, should I pick it up? I know they are pretty old but apparently they are very well built. I would like to use it to power one of my 12 inch 500rms orion subs. Would that work. The subs are dvc and say 4ohms on the driver. Can you wire it differently?

even though the sub says 4ohm, since its dvc can it be wired somehow so it can run at 1ohm or even 1/2. Since that amp is a "cheater amp"
