Only Connect (BBC4)

There was something about the Alesmen team that I didn't quite like, but impressed with the 5 pointer.

Whilst they seem strong I don't think they will win it, that 5 pointer was the difference last night and they may struggle later on.
 
I have to say a great series and to be honest fantastic performances by all the teams this series. Many connections i had absolutely no clue about and they still got them.

I am wondering that given that it appears to be one of BBC 4's best rated shows will it be switched to BBC 2 and if the switch is made will it be made easier?
 
Maybe it is, maybe it isn't....might it just be it's fun for some to try and work out what connects these seemingly random things?

We play along at home, and hardly have a greatest educations behind us. It's a great achievement to get an answer right, a challenge!
 
They are repeats, and are shown as such on Digiguide. Programmes on BBC4 are not usually given the "r" tag. What you do have to look out for is "new" against the description.
 
Just done the same myself. I've also suggested a BBC2 repeat for the series. It's the kind of intelligent show I'd remember my parents watching in the 80s and, perhaps, early 90s, and while at least my Dad will never find it on BBC4 even if I tell him where to look, I know that a BBC2 showing around 8pm would be perfect.

(Edit: I once got an answer right that the team onscreen didn't! gloat-smiley :) )
