Holy crap did you just see the bit where he screamed and blood poured out of his eyes  I was not expecting that and it really creeped me out!:(This film so far is really uncomfortable to watch but im intriqued as to how it enRAB...what do others think?

All I can say is, thank God for my digital camera

But seriously, Robin Williams playing a psycho convincingly so far. (I'll have to tape the end, midnight is past my bed time)

The end bit (where hes in the photo with the family) is supposed to be a mick-take/homage to the Shining when Jack was in that olllld photo at the end. Its supposed to be what Sy wants, rather than what Sy gets.

Good film this. Very nice production design.

What do you think was the significance of those photos at the end, the ones he lined up on the table in the interrogation room, where they were just a bunch of photos of bits of the hotel room? I thought we saw him taking photos of the people in the room. Maybe he wasnt really taking photos of them. Maybe he was just trying to teach them a lesson. Maybe the police confiscated the explicit ones. I'm not sure. I thought he was actually taking photos so that, in his deluded mind, he could give them to the wife so that she would see what her husband has really been up to. But if he didn't actually take any photos then what did he think he was doing? Other than scaring the adulterers? hmmmm.

I thought the film would have been more effective if we hadn't found out a reason for Si's obsession with photos and general alienation from people. The reveal seemed a bit too cliched. But still, a good film.

If you enjoyed this film of seeing Robin Williams, in a serious straight role. Then another film similar to this one, that I would recommend is Insomnia.

Robin Williams plays a reclusive novelist, that is the only witness to an accidental crime committed by Detective Al Pacino.

A very good & different film, similar to One Hour Photo.

I really didnt like this film Robin Williams IMO isnt suited to playing serious parts like this. Only seen it once, that was enough!

Its one of those films you watch but cant turn off in fear of it getting better but it never does...

 I really liked it .. thought the pictures he got at the end showed that he hadnt really taken any of the couple in the hotel wrong but that he had just faked it to scare them! Just my take on it though!

I saw the end half of it but never really followed it. All I know is his eyes bled, reducing me to a Quivering Heap. What actually happened to him at the end?

The blood in the eyes scene was the only part of this movie i enjoyed, granted i watched it when it first came out and was probably not old enough to appriciate it fully but it just didnt click with me.....pun intended....it didnt come out right.....dont worry ill be gone in a flash.....

i thought it was pretty good when i saw it - but thought they could have made it more ambiguous as to whether or not he was actually evil or not - thought it was fairly evident early on that he was just harmless.

I thought it was a good film. However I did expect old robbo to get a lot more demented than he did.

The little kid doesn't pay much attention to those Neon Genesis Evangelion cartoons he watches. He totally described the figure wrong.

I wasn't sure about the ending. Was he seeing the picture of him with the family in his imagination, or was it real

I'm glad I read this thread before watching the film (thank goodness for videos!!!) - I was prepared for the blood pouring out of the eyes - and thank goodness for spooky music setting the scene!!!

Interesting film, but I'd love to know what the real ending was.
