Good film this. Very nice production design.
What do you think was the significance of those photos at the end, the ones he lined up on the table in the interrogation room, where they were just a bunch of photos of bits of the hotel room? I thought we saw him taking photos of the people in the room. Maybe he wasnt really taking photos of them. Maybe he was just trying to teach them a lesson. Maybe the police confiscated the explicit ones. I'm not sure. I thought he was actually taking photos so that, in his deluded mind, he could give them to the wife so that she would see what her husband has really been up to. But if he didn't actually take any photos then what did he think he was doing? Other than scaring the adulterers? hmmmm.
I thought the film would have been more effective if we hadn't found out a reason for Si's obsession with photos and general alienation from people. The reveal seemed a bit too cliched. But still, a good film.
