One day my car audio sound system just turned off... hasnt come back on?

as mentioned, i was driving and then randomly my aftermarket sound system turned off, everything is off, the capacitor, the different amps, I am thinking its a problem between the capacitor and the car battery.
sound system is all aftermarket.... the deck is working perfectly fine, because the speakers running directly off the deck
 
you lost power between the battery and your equipment. i would start with the capacitor (by throwing it in the trash where it belongs) and check for power (with a voltage checker) from the first connection at the battery down the line to see where the power was lost, and rewire. (not to dis your cap but a properly wired (and size wire) amp doesnt need a cap and its a waste of money, and something else to go wrong, if you just like the way it looks and have extra money to blow then fine but dont think its doing anything for you because it isnt, just a money making gimmick for audio companies)

check the fuse in your power line first to see if that's blown then check all the fuses in your amps. Also remove the cap they cause noting but trouble and i have had noting but trouble with them, they just are a waste of money in my opinion. Also check your ground it may have came lose and that could be the problem or that its just a bad ground and try clearing the metal where you connect it. Hope this helps
