if the kick is blocked and recovered by the kicking team on a FG is it considered a missed FG on the the kicker?
or
if it is recovered by the Defense is it considered a missed FG?
What is the correct NFL rule on this stat?
If he attempts the kick it is a missed field goal. If his foot kicks it and it is blocked it is a missed attempt regardless of who recovers. If it were say, a bad snap, and the kicker never kicks the ball it will not count against the kicker.
