lol I had one iFanboy trying to justify it to me as a huge upgrade. :D

At least they got the autofocus, even with a nice nifty gimmick on tapping the screen.
 
He's had it for a few minutes and the poor build quality is already showing.

All of these pics and discussion have not changed my decision. No N97 for me. (LOL at the stylus)
 
I agree, look wat happen to SE Xperia. They announced it 8 months early and when the device was released the Bold, Touch Pro, Omnia and iphone 3G came out.
 
Well according to Amex its being presented as the same charge twice, not that one order is cancelled but that one order is asked to be processed twice.
 
That would be the logical thing, but, if you try that, my option under "My Stuff" is to "BUY" the app. When I click BUY, it shows me my CC info and tells me to confirm to purchase.

hoping they got some good emulators for it. i think with the keyboard, playing old school games will be awesome. like mario and stuff
 
tsk tsk tsk, you can mess with the Idou mang. Sure they up't the megapixels to 12, sure it might not mean anything to you, but this is Sony Ericsson!! You can't mess with their CyberShots. I can care less about Carl Zeiss lens, til now, I haven't found a phone that can compare in camera options/feature/quality than my current SE K850i, this phone is gangsta when it comes to taking pictures. The C905 already was better, so I can't imagine what the Idou will be like, but like you said, im just talking camera spec... I need much much more in a phone, starting with 64GB =D
 
I never said that I don't like rounded corners but just look at it...it's weird looking, not just because of the corners of the device but the rounded back cover as well. It's almost like a Motorola PEBL with a flat face. It looked awesome in all black and 90 degree angles all around, it was strictly business.
 
Not sure. I was HOPING that a new processor was the reason. Having a contest helps for the delay - Widget winner gets their app featured on all N97's when they ship ;) . But I think there are licensing deals associated in the works just waiting to see if they bumped the CPU significantly from Freescale.
 
I've watched a few videos of the N97 but I haven't been able to determine one thing: is it possible to have the keyboard out but NOT to have the screen tilted so both are flat with each other? I'm not sure I always want the screen tilted and having both flat would be easier for on the go typing. Thanks.
 
Just got my N97! I'm going to charge the battery first.... As for the keyboard... it's not the greatest but for me its nothing to complain about. The keys make a clicking sound as you press them so it's good enough for me to know if I pressed on them or not. Overall, the keyboard is fine imo....
