*OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia N97

It's the Jesus, Mary and Joseph phone.
You know me. All I wanted was a S60 phone with a N95-like camera and a qwerty keyboard. The N97 is the one for me.

The E71 is a good example of this. As you type words it will autocomplete with a suggestion, hitting the D-pad down it will give you more choices, hitting Space it will use the suggested word, hitting the D-pad up will use what you have typed. I love it.

USB 2.0. No fear in there. I wonder if it's going to have the same issues with having to reformat the internal memory every so often to prevent the camera from stuttering.

NokiaUSA shipping out first? LMAO. Did you try calling Nokiausa and chatted online with them? Their customer service is so bad that it will give you cramps in your belly! They are just bunch of liars, their return and order cancellation policy shows that they are just ripping off people. ''You can only cancel order 5 minutes after placement'' What a bummer! As soon as you go online, chat window pops up and a rep on the other end tries to lure you into buying by saying ''if you order today, you will get it first''

I did not write this to tick off people who ordered through NokiaUSA.May be their are some customers who had good experience with NokiaUSA, I'm only speaking of mine, friends, colleagues.I'd say the people who have ordered with them and somebody else gets before you, just sue NokiaUSA, especially when they are flaunting 'Be the first to get your hands on N97"

like others have stated looks like i'll be gettin this after the 5800 . Gonna start putting in overtime now.

For those stating nokia copied htc, how many different designs are there? isn't the design of one of the internet tablets like this phone?

Ya, then do what I do, buy a subsidized phone and then sell it. I know i'll be with at&t for the foreseeable future, so I don't mind being under contract. I ended up buying a bold for $200 and then selling it for $400.

Wow, this is getting out of hand. If we were still comparing the two, the OmniaHD not having a keyboard and potentially having reception issues are about on par with the N97 having a difficult keyboard and reception issues of its own. And he did have that retail box in the video too. :disappoin

You know what device I never complained about? The N95-3. The only issues were the loose slider and the fact that it took a rehash to get the original right. I honestly can't remember another handset that delivered so much with so few problems. I just don't remember the problems of these newly released phones to be so severe.

Or someone on a motorcycle. Capacitive screen drives me nuts. The problem is, I have to buy a special glove. That takes my selection from 5 million different gloves and makes me use one or two. The summer glove sucks in October when it's well under freezing.

Fair enough, but we both know that it isn't. And on top of that, the DE should know what kind of schedule impact a processor change would be at this point in the design cycle, to both hardware and software development.
