*OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia N97

I used to be a gamer when I was young, i thought I was over it but my daughter just got a Wii for her birthday and I am starting to enjoy it. Not sure about games on my phone though. I think the d-pad would be a great help but I think it would benefit lefties based on location.

We can talk about Nokia's failed services all day too. Ngage, CwM, Maps, Share, Sync, Mail? I think the only one that doesn't have a stream of problems is Files on Ovi, but people have alternatives for that too (Orb/Soonr). Each has either a different service that is significantly more popular or is riddled with problems, if not both.

I agree. I would snatch up a flagship from any manufacturer if it did what I want (and I will for my own reasons with the i8910) and was worth the money, Nokia included. Unfortunately, they haven't released a phone that's been able to compete AND be worth the money for some time now. The only thing their services are doing is dragging their customers through their beta-mud with falso promises of how seamless a "Nokia future" is going to be, effectively giving users a reason to stay with Nokia, when they're not necessarily satisfied by the services in the first place!

I have a question. I am currently using a Black berry Bold, and I have preordered the N97. I was wondering will the N97 be able to use something like blackberry connect for my emails ? I know there may be other mail clients out there so if there are any that you could think of that work well could you please suggest. The reason I ask is because once I have the N97 I will change my data plan to a non black berry plan. FYI, I currently have AT&T as a provider. I
