*OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia N86 8MP

I am in the same boat as you with the no tones and GPS after updating to V20.

I would exchange it from where you purchased it. I have little faith on PALCO.

Anybody here try the Slingbox application to see if it works on FP2 devices???

I use it regularly on my N95 but I am afraid that I will be losing it if I upgrade.

I think on mine its AT&T 3G..

Ive been testing mine for 3 days now..

Tuesday I was only using 3G mode.. Got like 3 dropped calls (Connection Error)

Wednesday I was on Dual Mode.. No Dropped calls..

Thursday (Today) Back to using 3G mode again. Got like 4 dropped calls.

Why can't I just stay with dual?

Whenever I connect to the internet.. Even though I have a strong 3G signal, it keeps on connecting to Edge. This happens to all my phones! Argghhh

That's why I only stay on 3G.. But I have to suffer with the dropped calls.

what does Xenon flash have to do with screen brightness?

Xenon flash consumes more battery power. Brighter screen consumes more battery power. Dimmer screen was used in N82 to optimize battery power. I think that's what he was getting at.

JbakTaskMan has a torch using the screen. Unfortunately it leaves the red LEDs on. Open the lens cover until they they turn off. Then close it.

BrightLight uses the white LEDs and it's brighter. Run it. Close it. Run it again then light comes on. To turn turn off - close program, rerun and quickly exit. If left on the LEDs get hot. If you turn off and on the phone, then you need to run the app twice before the light turns on. After that only one time is needed.
