So what is the difference that one will notice as a result of having HSDPA of 850/2100 over 850/1900? Will I notice blazingly fast web surfiing on the phone? I just need to understand is it really worth the wait for the E71 NAM over an E71 Euro. I am on AT&T so I need quad band for reception purposes but I am not sure what I will be needing the HSDPA to do. I basically use my phone for calls and emails. By the way who has the best price on the Euro E71. Mobile City's price is very high.

If you do moderate surfing in addition to MFE, 300MB is cutting it close as MS Direct Push doesn't compress email as well as BB. I use the $50-$100 flex rate plan and do between 400mb - 1.5GB every month (I'm a heavy user and tether once in a while too).

Come on take it easy. Don't let the wait and announcement of a smart phone drive you into this state of anger/fustration. The E71 will be realeased in due time and there is nothing at this end of the spectrum that we can say or do that will change the timing/announcement for the E71. As with all good things we must have patience.

Well, basically it doesn't make a difference if there isn't a separate chipset, what matters is that putting additional bands means more costs, like licensing. And why would Nokia keep putting money in the pockets of Qualcomm while they're in this mess anyway.

Well today marks the end of a 7 year run I have had with Nokia phones. My HTC Hero (unlocked Telus version) shipped today. I am interested to see how well the Hero holds up to my 2 year old E71 now.
