*OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia E71

pfft, Nokia slapped on the 3.5mm jack on the E63 but took away the single most important feature for any phone with such impressive capabilities -- HSDPA.

A2DP headphones at this point are a joke. Headphones that not only require you to charge them but also don't even last as long as the E71 itself? pfffffffffffffffft to that too.

Best option is an 3.5mm->2.5mm adapter, but lol.

i knew it was thin, but never thought that thin...

anyhow, got some official model numbers:

E71-1 RM-346 = GSM 850/900/1800/1900; WCDMA 900/2100

E71-2 RM-357 = GSM 850/900/1800/1900; WCDMA 850/1900

E71-3 RM-407 = GSM 850/900/1800/1900; WCDMA 850/2100

its strange though that there have been no mention of these features (the new predictive text and the quick number searching) on the n78 or the n96 from what i have read.

No you wont notice blazing fast speeds on the web unless its full of pics and graphics, as for email it sends and downloads emails much faster, you will see the difference when u add files and attachments. Its better for downloading and uploading and you can talk and surf at same time.

That's good. Hopefully they'll fix the video issue in the next F/W ...? Did you get the E71-3, E71-2 or E71-1? I am trying to discover if what was posted about the E71-3 with 850/ 3G is true or not. Some guy said the 2100 band for 3G on the E71-3 is different and will only work in Australia. I think it's non sense, but never hurts to be sure. I guess it's time for me to contact Nokia and find out.
