*OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia E71

I agree. Once the new iPhone reaches to Euope/Asia... for $199, Nokia revenues will start declining.

I like Steve's policy. He discontinued the current 2G phone. Focusing on the improved product 3G iPhone. Where as Nokia? :disappoin

My only disappointment after two weeks so far is the camera quality is terrible. In decent light conditions, you get a lot of noise.....only in really well lit areas do the pictures come out decent.

Anyone who's got a NAM version want to test out the camera to see if it's improved? I've got the E71-1 version.

Hmmm.....now I'm thinking I need to get meself a N-series phone to complement my E-series phone.

Nokia has a Mail for Exchange program for S60 that interfaces with Exchange 2003 and 2007 servers through Exchange ActiveSync. Same way a Windows Mobile device does, basically.

It syncs only contacts, email, and calendar....this is why BB is still the best for Exchange at the moment, but I don't mind syncing desktop for Notes and Tasks as I dont' use that as much. However Roadsync does allow filing of Emails into folders which is why it is better than MFE IMO. It does suck battery though, but I think the E71 will be ok as the battery is quite big.

My E71's handset earpiece buzzes and volume levels distort slightly starting and during calls, looks like a hardware problem. Tried a software reset and a firmware update, both didn't work, hopefully Nokia will give me a new one.

Anyone else experience this?
