*OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia E71

I totally agree, the first one with no other out there is going to fetch a very premium price. When supply increases, price will drop. When the supply is 4, the price will be high. BTW, the owner of that first and only 9000 I think is the owner of crackberry.com and has begun posting a series of reviews of the device including pix and videos. There is a thread in the RIM section that points to it.

Nope and if you are talking about Shopblt, I'm not 100% Certain they will have it until I hear from someone on this forum that they indeed received the NAM version shipped from them......just a little suspicious that these guys, whom I've never heard of until recently, would be the first to get the NAM version.....I could be totally wrong, but that's just my feeling.

Anyways, I'm on T-mobile so I don't need the US 3G.

1. Possibly with themes. i want to do this as well.

2. chrome is better than ipod. no scratches or hairline scratches at all.
No cracking

3. It has a good feel to it. when people hold it it has weight but not overly so. the comment i have gotten so far is it feels solid

4. No creaking of the keys on mine at least. They have a nice responsive feel to them. They are small though, so if you have very big thumbs might have to wait for the E66 or go BB

@blacksrt4guy

It will go if you set up your voicemail or delete a waiting message and will come back next time you have a voice mail message. I seriously doubt you killed it well at least i would hope not.

On E71:
Once you have typed the numbers, press the function key once. Pressing the function key takes you out of the numerical mode and into ABC mode. You then press the shift key twice to enter the ALL CAPS mode and then continue typing the letters.

-Type 1 800
-Press the function key once at the lower left corner of the qwerty.
-Press the shift key twice and look at the upper right hand corner of the screen to verify the ALL CAPS status.
-Type the remaining letters for COOLNAME.

Hope this helps.

I noticed that Clumsy Thief was throwing in a 2gig memory card with Garmin GPS on it. Is this the same memory card that they offer for Windows Mobile devices? I have one of those cards laying around and would love to use it on my Symbian 60 phone.

Although THIS thread is the Official E71 Thread - which should include ALL uses & inquiries of the E71 and its uses in any environment, issues, ts, etc; you're request above seems VERY valid.

I think I might have screwed up the 3 month nav trial setup.

I followed the instructions on the enclosed sheet and when the online app came up with a list of countries I chose USA. But it is asking for me to subscribe, not recognizing as a trial.

Is the trial only valid for the singapore maps?

One thing that I dont get is why cant you customize the programs on the home screen? That really blows. Half of those programs I dont want and I want to replace.

Wirelessly posted (Nokia 6682/E62: Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.2; U; Series60/3.1 NokiaE71-1/100.07.76; Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 ) AppleWebKit/413 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/413)

yes.

Looks like the advanced call manager is listed as a nokia built in app....does not say trial or have a registration...
