*OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia E71

haha, just the guy(owner) thats always there when Ive bought phones. Im pretty sure Ive not bought as many of you guys have. I think Ive gotten around 8 phones from them in the last couple years.
 
I was unsure about it after ready a ton of reviews, but I went ahead and picked one up and couldn't be happier.

Mine is 35/2008. No signal issues (I live in Chicago) and voice quality is awesome. I get full bars of 3g and no problems with simultaneous voice/data either.

I am coming from a Q9 global, and thought the Q is a great device, the functionality of the E71 is much better. I haven't had any email issues (I use Nokia's Intellisync) - thought the placement of the option and back text is a litttle wonky.

Overall a killer device...now I get to download some s60 apps and see how much fun I can really have!
 
I got a E71 courtesy of WOM, the first thing I checked was call quality, the speakerphone is on the relatively loud side, the headset volume is ok, not as great as the N95-3 that I have which maybe due to it having US 3G.

Also for a person with fat fingers, although the keys are relatively small, I can rarely make mistakes, and I can precisely hit what I want, big upgrade from the E61i

As I handle it more, I'll post more on my blog. So far it's turning out to be an awesome device.
 
I use Roadsync and you can file your emails.....BB's are best for this when using exchange....you can file your emails, it will sync notes and task, and my biggest gripe of S60...BB will sync contact categories.
