*OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia E71

I will get it closed like post a picture of a girl naked.. :p

Like what they did to the "S60 Picture of the Day thread" :lolup: :lolup:

Just kidding.. :lol:

I think you should buy the E90..

I mean people were complaining that the E61i/E62 were wider, not good pocketable. They never complained about the screen.

Now there is the E71.. People loving the fact that its small and thin. Now they complain about the screen size.

You can only ask for so much you know..

I don't see the active standby screen. For SE it's call the sleep mode clock. It's when the screen is not in use and it shows the time and date. And if you get a missed call, message etc. it will show.

^ I didnt know that. Why the hell did they drop it? What's the difference left between E and N-series then? Besides Lifeblog. Man, without BBC, E-series feels empty.

I haven't had any trouble myself, and if they have something AVAILABLE NOW and a good price I won't hesitate to buy from them, just I wouldn't go for a pre-order from them.

I got mine today, and I notice a little bit of flicker when scrolling through lists, particularly the first item to get refreshed (top of the list, when scrolling up or bottom of the list scrolling down). I good example of this is scrolling through my contacts list. It's not a terrible issue, but it's mildly distracting. Does this happen to anyone else? (i.e. should I be concerned about it?)

I think Engadgetmobile swapped their photo. I remember they had the red one on the front page under the "E63" title. But its all good now, the red one also has the 3.2 camera, it the E71.

@RayanMX

I like quite a few others have mentioned that they use Seven and i had 3 accounts one Yahoo, a MSN and a BTinternet account all on for 16 hours a day and mainly over WiFi in my case. I had no battery problems at all in fact i would say the opposite is true the battery is excellent on the E71.

I would say the poster whose battery isn't even lasting a day must have something killing the battery either with some software he is running or a faulty device. It certainly doesn't seem to be most users experience otherwise i doubt so many would be singing it's praises and would be complaining like hell.
