*OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia E71

I have become totally into qwerty keyboard phones...with BlackBerry being my favorite device by a long shot at the moment. I even have my local AT&T agent promising to sell me the first BB 9000 Bold that drops in my area...

...but I am getting a serious case of the got-to-have-its over the E71...for real! :D

I am certainly looking forward to 3GSM. Maybe I'll end up replacing both my phones with the E61i replacement. Or hate it and stick with my current phones. Not sure which.

P.s. they better leave in the Access Point Groups. That is a huge advantage the E61i has over the N95.

I agree with Carl....the 9000 can not be $1000. There will be a consumer backlash and no phone company will subsidize that. I think the E71 will come out around $599 to $649 range....thinking about recent pricing increases and the fact that this phone does pack more in than the E61i. I believe the E61i came out at around the $500 range.
 
No GPS is not a deal breaker for me....the new Google Maps using cell towers to get approx location is good for me...really never found GPS on the Nokia phones to work all that well....at least here in the USA.

FP1 is sort of disappointing, but hoping that this will help to reduce the price a bit.
 
So does anyone know when the US 3G version is supposed to drop?
