*OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia E71

I use the soft N93 pouch that came with the N95-3..

I like does soft pouches.. If they didn't come with the phone.. I use does Oakley Shades Pouch..

I love the 7610 pouch, N93 pouch, 8800 pouch.. :2thumbs:

Nowadays where is the cheapest place to purchase a E71-1? I just sold my E71-2 and switched carriers and no longer need 850, so since there is no E71-3 I might as well buy a E71-1

the 7270 did have a cell radio in it. Is there anywhere the VoIP client in the 7270 can be loaded onto say an 8820 or a Bold (no I dont have one yet).

All the other so called "VoIP" software for the Berry use some sort of "call you back" system where the outbound call is connected via Skype out and then the Skype system calls you back over your cell number using the cell network using regular minutes.

My main goal having VoIP is not to have LD/overseas charges, but to have service when the cell network is not available.

I love my BB, but these solutions are weak compared the the native S60 VoIP client.

Nokia reports Q2 earning tomorrow. Keep an eye on the total handset shipments.

The first-quarter shipments fell 13% from the final quarter to 14.6 million units in the first quarter from 18.8 million units in the previous quarter.

Wall Street is saying that they may ship 120 million units during the quarter, implying the company maintained its market share

But Nokia has faced considerable pressure in the high-end phone market, losing market share because of new handsets from Apple's iPhone and
Research In Motion's Blackberry. Compounding the problem is the fact that Nokia had no new handset introductions during the second quarter.

I'm hoping for a good and clean report. Their books and cash flow are cleaner than Apple or RIM.
