I agree w/ this statement whole heartedly.

@Puonti

It was me that mentioned it after some one else had pointed it out to me. The gap was about a business cards thickness all the way across the top of the keyboard below the screen.

Also the top row of keys had some play in them and i could see the inside of the phone below the keys, i have made WOM aware of this and am awaiting collection for it to go back to them and see what they have to say.

Now i also didn't notice it immediately on getting the E71 but as i was doing a review i used it a lot in the first few days and it was only after someone else mentioned it that i looked and noticed it on mine also.

I am not claiming it is major problem or a fault but just making people aware so that they can check theirs and keep on eye on it.

The way I have been going the phone will only last 4-6 months anyways and if anything were to dull ( the keyboard) I figure I can just replace it before I most likely sell it.

See statements like this is what bother me. Sure its true as we all know that tethering over BT is slower than USB. But it really should NOT be.

Both the N810 & E71 both feature BTv2.0/1 +EDR which means that 3MB/sec transfer in Asynchronous/Synchronous should be sufficient for 3G and possibly for 3.5G HSDPA (which 3100Mb/sec ceiling is highly unattainable without a 7.2MB/sec chipset about to support it and faster speeds; along with its overhead.)

I'm wondering if there is something with BT that is affecting it.

Curious, why not try WiFi on both devices?!

just ordered mine off of amazon. 357 incl shipping. let you know if there are any issues.

i think that's the best bet just in case you want return it.

the prices on newegg.com just went up this week. weird.

Well MR's lovely insider is at least telling that something like that might be coming in future.
"The next e will be fp2 but that not expected for sometime yet. The formfactor is like the HTC Wing (or an e51 qwerty slider)."

I cant really say that i love the BB/E61 formfactor and slide out qwerty would do nicely, but what i really want to see from E series would be "E90 light" with maybe some added stuff like fp2.

i think perhaps it has something to do with certifications, the FP2 is fairly recent, whereas the FP1 is much mature and acquiring certifications for Cisco, MS stuffs require quite a bit of time...

I have not had my last a whole day yet. I am using Nokia's beta email client and the phone only lasts about 1 hour of talk time plus 8 hours of running the email. Anyone else have this problem? For me the phone is useless...the email is the only reason I was looking to replace my N95.

E71 is good. im using it now. fastand stable. ui is like a n95 landscape mode except no tv out. almost the size of a iphone but alot thinner. feels great and solid.

Thats the whole thing, right now I can not. I could not on my E90, cant on my E51 (I dont think i can) and also for the record can not on my Blackberry. I would love to be able to. I usually travel with my pint sized OQO and listen on that, or get the laptop out.

If anyone know of a S60 app that would allow the streaming of WMA, I would like to know about it.

Nokia's Push Mail Service?????

If anyone is successfully running this, please help!!

1. It takes anywhere from 10 to 35 minutes to get a mail "Pushed" to the phone. I thought one advantage of Push mail was that it was almost instantly pushed to your phone???? Is there something I am not configuring correctly?

2. On the original Email Client with the E71, if you went to your inbox to a mail, the clicked "options", there is an option to "Listen" to your mail. It actually will read your mail to you. Awesome feature!!!! I do not see that option on the Push mail client. Is it NOT available????

Thanks!!!
