perhaps waiting for the certifications... you can not sell a cellphone if it is not fully certified by the gov agencies like FCC, or perhaps there are still some serious bugs, who knows what marketing is also thinking...
so I should have my e71 here in an hour or so, quck question. Whats the best way to take all the contacts from my n95 and get them to the e71? (I dont have the same contacts on the sim card as the phone) Does backing up the contacts on Nokia Suite take one single file and save it so I can load one single file onto the new phone? Thanks
Okay, so I accidentally formatted my phone's memory card while testing something and lost the precious business card scanner software. Anyone willing to send me the SISX file?
Why not just get exchange service? I have had it for a year now and it really works out for me to be better than BB connect. Also it costs me only $9.99/month. Than you have a choice of Mail for Exchange, Roadsync, and even if you really want BB Exchange service.
It's not the same as any previous E series devices. When you get a text message, the little notification bubble appears at the bottom of the actve staby screen.
When you select the appropriate text message bubble, a little popup appears, which displays the sender/first few words of the text message.
It works for at least two messages, as I have had that scenario happen to me.
-----------
The E series/ S60 home screen is one area where S60 PALES in comparison to Windows Mobile.
When I had the E61i I loved the HUGE 2.8"screen display also...but I hated the HUGE E61i body that was necessary to have that screen sizing, making it almost like holding a laptop computer against the side of your head!!
I will gladly sacrifice a bit of screen real estate to get a more compact, and modern phone design.
I guess there are a few apps on the BB that I wanted on S60 as well. I'm still loving the E71. I just need to find a reliable host that can push Gmail as well.
Yeah...but the phone is pretty low end and as you said it's only for Asia, so I'm sure Nokia won't be putting too much effort marketing this one...on the other hand the E71 will replace what has been somewhat successful for Nokia in the E-series of devices, so I'm thinking some hype/announcement/marketing would be a good thing.
