*OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia E71

I dont see active standby plug-ins mentioned anywhere.

On another note I installed the Nokia Beta Email App on my E71 and its SO much better then on the N82. It runs like a champ. Everything works like it should too. The light still flashes, still get notifications and they go away after checking mail. The inbox looks much better then the built in app too. Its clean and easy to read. On your homescreen it actually shows a little of the message too.

I think it will play fine if you reduce, but I am not gonna do it ;)

EDIT:

Youtube videos are playing fine. I am able to view full screen using default browser.

Right now I'm using an (outdated) version of Mail For Exchange to push my work email to my N75. Before, I was pushing it to my HTC S730 (WM6 Std). S60 lacks the ability (in this version, anyway) for flagging, handling meeting invites, and moving messages to Inbox subfolders. That last I was unable to do successfully in Windows Mobile as well. The first two items bug me a bit, but not a huge amount...depends on what's important to you.

This version also does not have access to the Global Address List, but I know they fixed that in later versions (which won't install on my N75).

i just installed the slick app s603rd, it works but it seems to have a very old setup of my account, for example, my display name on other ppl's msn is my old name, iv since changed it looooong time ago~ (this also lead me to ask, how can i change my display name on slick?)
then my groups are all old setups as well.
it seems to me, that slick is connected to an old msn server or a backup server that hadnt updated all its data yet..
some help please?

Thank you very much. :buddies:

It's not as small as the Moto Razr, but if I recall, it's about the same thinness. It really is tiny! Hard to compare it to the 6126. But I can say it's not as small as the 6126.

Can you roam on AT&T's 3G if you are a T-Mobile user? I guess only if no other Tmobile towers are in the area.

Anyways I think I have decided that this is going to be my next phone, and should be picking one of these up about this time next year since I just got an e51. hahah.

So after an evening with the e71 and still not dead by the way despite being connected to my email all night Im concerned about the way this phone is going to hold up for me. In six months of ownership of the N95 8gb I never dropped it once, but I feel like its inevitable that Im going to drop this thing at some point. So far Ive taken one of my N95 Clarivue extras and replaced the sticker, but I think this is going to be the first time I buy one of those skins or whatever they are called. Not a case but one of those invisible shields.

hm.. i guess i'll be waiting the the US 3G version as well....

sorry N78

PS. sorry if this has already been ask, but does anyone know the release date for US 3G version?

What if you click this box first before any other settings are inputted. Same thing? I'm thinking your yahoo settings are wrong somehow and the phone sees that and won't let you go any further. Stupid question, but you sure your yahoo settings are good at their site?

I agree on that, but i just purchased an E51 the first part of the year, so I am going to hold off until about this time next year. Maybe an E61i to hold me over (that is if they come down in price at all).

I prefer a pocket. I had my e90 in a case and the case actually scratched it with the mag closure when I was pulling it out once. True it wasn`t the perfect case. I carry my phones always in a pocket and have sold many on hofo bst. They are always in like new condition and the buyers always comment on the perfect screens. Oh, and I never use protection either. Hate it. Bottom line: If your gonna be a pocket carrier keep your frickin' keys and coins out. A dedicated pocket for the phone only works best for me. It helps to be really, really anal to.
