*OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia E71

this might seem to be a small thing, but the battery meter now seems to be accurate! that was one of my biggest complaints with other s60 devices, that they would show full battery for most of the day,then either drop one bar every half hour after that, or show almost empty after a restart. my e71 seems to actually be acurate and it does not change greatly if i power it off and on again.

just used the internet radio app for the first time on this device and the sound quality was surprisingly good. the only problem i found was that the softkeys seem to be reversed.
 
So I think Its better to close the thread than derail it more till we start talking about girls on the beach, britney spears getting arrested.. etc..

I'm just saying take the BOLD to its proper discussion..

Don't you guys agree? Even though this thread has been derailed for such a long time now.
 
I've called at&t so many times, each time they think I still have my old phone that I activated my account with. My IMEI that's registered with them probably has change 20 times since. So far considering how many subscribers they have, and the number of people they've audited, I consider it rare cases.
 
why does nokia chat doesnt works for me .. i did try to format device... but still after complete installation i am not able to launch Nokia Chat...

I think it has something to do with the firmware.. I guess nokia put beta firmware for mine device....

An announcement is nice, but that means it may still be a while before we see a device. I remember when Nokia announced the E50, E70 and E61, it seems like it was a VERY long time before we actually saw them.

But I guess we have to start someplace, and at least an official announcement should mean we have some official specs.
 
E90 is most used qwerty device here mostly because it's communicator thought i dont feel it's real communicator as the old ones have always been something special...this has a big screen thats it. It's a good device, but should have been more.
If Nokia is really going delay E71 more i'm just going to wait what all these companies has to offer 3 months later.
 
Oh, I'm hanging onto my N95-1 until I can replace it with an AWS-capable N95 model. :D The wife goes before the N95! I just want it all: QWERTY, great camera, GPS, WiFi, you name it. :)
 
Well, I think it'd be wise to close it in the near future when E71's announced. Right now all related BS/Rumours/gossip can be posted here, and once its announced, make a new one.

And I promise not to post anything abt new crush the Bold :lol:
