*OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia E71

Grr I cant see the walkthrough here at work but I was looking at the pictures again and why do the icons look funny? I'll have to check out the video when I get home I guess. Did they change the look of the S60 OS at all?

:lol: so true.....I think Nokia delaying this thing has actually kept interest alive...I hear the Touch Diamond will not be out for NA till very late. So for me there's a three way race, the X1, E71 and Bold. However, I think the Bold will not be out on T-mobile till Sept or Oct. :sad:

Does that pouch that comes with it have a belt loop or something? I can't tell from the photos. I always prefer belt holsters myself.

Incidentally, now that I got paid today I'm going to go pre-order I think...question is, Tiger Direct or Buy.com? :)

@bostonirishguy,

No the BB client from other E series devices doesn't work on the E71 people have tried but with no success. No one has had it confirmed that there will be a BB client for the E71 either.

Congrats on being a papa. :D

Wives dont understand missing their birthday or anniversary. You've made a wise choice. I bet Jontymisra will be the first of the regulars in this forum to sport an E71, and the first to get rid of it too!

and let me guess...a lousy 2mp camera...?

Thanks for the info, I never knew that thing was out. Not really a smartphone, and its Moto lineage makes it suspect, due to Moto's recent financial problems in its cell phone sector.
