Hmm, Video recording is a let down - I was hoping for VGA recording :( , but its not a dissapointment if its clear - more than my K850i - and surely 30fps with stabilization.



This band is pretty odd. I thought Australa only had HSDPA on 850mhz band - or at least initially when the Moto RazrMAXX was released. Did you guys have another spectrum auction in the last year, or are you already working towards LTE?

Anyone else love the cosmopolitan JAZZ music during the official PM discussions of both E66 & E71?! Definately somebody in Target Marketing is earning their pay ... this music is really reaching out to those business users - sleek. Now Nokia you got the stuff, got the mood in the music PUSH ADVERTISING!
 
I suspect the mandatory dataplan is more of an Apple thing that the carrier. I think they are just trying to bring the sale price point down and using the monthly data charge to subsidize that. This is no different the a BB dataplan.
 
I'm wondering if this will have the multimedia functions of at least as good as the E90......I'm always hoping Nokia would release a Business and Multimedia powerhouse phone...Also will this phone come with FP2?
 
I don't really see why they had to make it narrower and crunch the keys together; nevermind making the screen smaller :mad: . Very irritating. Well, I'll have to wait and see.

Still a hard choice: E71 or Bold, Bold or E71. Pricing.

I've noticed the same thing. I have AT&T Wireless here in Edgewater, New Jersey (New York City area), and EDGE has been down and spotty according to AT&T.

I can't seem to connect to the internet (to check my emails) and I do have the unlimited media bundle (internet access) package on my account as well.

Any other HoFo'ers from the NYC area see that EDGE is down on their Nokia E71 devices? I have the E71-1.
 
i've heard theres a good chance it is. i'm hoping it does so i can buy it for cheap then unbrand and unlock it. i can live with the logo on the phone.

I'm really tempted Carl......I know I won't need the NA version, but worry about resale as most will want the NAM version....decisions, decisions :confused:
 
i'm sure there are different themes out there that change the icons.

and to test the breathign light power draw, just turn on energy profiler and see the power draw, then turn off the breathing light and compare. i bet it literally makes zero difference to the battery life.
 
Blackberry Bold apparently coming to T-Mobile June-August according to a Boy Genius article...I'm hoping it will have T-mobile 3G....I'm kind of over the E71 now....thinking about it, the N96 seems more exciting....at least we know it exists :)
 
Seems like everybody is damn tired of talking about a phone that may never be released...or at least that still has no release date, or even a hint of one.

I mean, my God...over 80 pages of pure speculation!!!

Heck, at least we know the Bold will be for sale at some date very soon... :rolleyes:
