*OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia E71

I never had a problem pocketing the E61 and certainly had no problems with the 61i. This is one hot looking device though and I love that it cosmetically follows the E51.

..enable N-gage on this and I'll be one happy camper...

With a freaking 2-year contract with AT&T in the US ($39.99 voice plan + $30 data plan)

I'll take the $500 unlocked/unbranded Nokia E71-3 with T-Mobile AWS (hopefully) + $39.99 T-Mobile voice plan + $19.99 Total Internet (tethering allowed + unlimited) and I don't have to sign another contract.

They've even allowed to have you submit you're own questions.

I submitted the following:

I did it more as a thought provoking question to their Intellisync business division ;).

Am I on the right thread?

Last time I checked this was the rumored E71..

Now it has become the RIM BOLD Jontymisra 1st Impression thread..

What's next? Rapolu's iPhone 2.0 1st Impression thread?

Thanks for the info.Jonty said his 71 worked tho...hmmmmm..thats kinda weird. My same question in the 66 thread said it was incompatible which I find strange for it to work on some 71's, not others and not e66 at all, when the 66 and 71 are basically the same device in diff bodies. Oh well, Think I'll check out UCWEB6, never heard of that.

for anyone whose on rogers.. im sure the majority of Rogers 3g towers operate on 850mhz. I used my e51 all around the GTA and Hamilton on 3.5g perfectly. cheers!

Hey, I wonder if we can hit 100 pages before the launch Monday. :D

I will probably wait until I can get am 850/1900 HSDPA version...my office is close enough to NYC so I actually get 3G reception there at times.

I think competing against RIM for the serious business market (large deployments) is going to be very difficult. BB is not just a handset, it is a solution that includes BES and all the administration that goes with that. RIM can also subsidize handset prices because of the recurring monthly service component of their revenue stream.

IMHO, the RIM model is brilliant. Dont take my word for it just look at the stock prices.

yes exactly. nokia T9 DOES add the apostrophe automatically. so typing the word CAN'T all you have to do is type 1 and it puts the ' just like normal.

ok, so its official. rose is not good for her word about receiving it overnight. albeit she may use "fedex priority overnight shipping" but if she takes 3 days to actually ship it out, well..thats kinda pointless
