I wouldn't mind buying from them MCO I find myself hoping Expansys gets the sucker. I've done a significant amount of business with them and never had any sort of problem.
 
I disagree, in reality there is very little hype surrounding the E71. While I love this forum, it in no way represents what the rest of the world thinks regarding wireless devices. There is some hype here at hofo and other sites, but the average consumer does not know there is an E71 coming out or that it appears to be delayed. Like it or not, many more people that dont hang at Hofo know there is a new iPhone coming out. Unless Nokia sells the E71 thru a carrier in the US, it will not be a sales success, no matter how good the device is.
 
Besides us crazy hofoers, how many other people do you know what an E71 is, or will be? For me the answer is 0. (I dont hang out with a techie crowd though). But all the people that dont know what the E71 is, do know there is a new iPhone coming in July. Remember, this is not a good cross section of the "normal" population.
 
So... before i order from Rose. Is everyone getting plain keys or ones with the asian symbols? Or is she shipping a combination?
I know some don't mind them and swear i wouldn't even either. But just making sure.
 
Somehow I totally missed the E71 showing up in the coming soon phones on nokiausa.com. The USA site doesnt have the "mobile phone holder" like the Euro one does. Grrr

I don't think you can use it as a modem in that way, you'd have to connect through your cellphone provider using their data rather than as a 56K modem... but honestly, if you haven't used 56K recently (within the last 3 years or so) don't ever use it again. It's more of an annoyance than a convenience for a mobile connection. Even Edge would provide a faster connection.
