Where did you find it as I have been looking for one for more than a week and all stores seem to be sold out. Also, is your setup a new activation?

Jeff I had none of that then.

The bell continue box bounced around for under an hour and then locked up.
Black screen with select to continue frozen in space.

May have to call Bell and get vocal.

I mean I have to write instructions so my wife can watch tv.

Come down stairs to the reciever. Pull the ent unit off the wall and unplug the BEV......

Stupid, do they not test this? Wait this is Bell they just figure they are right all the time. On no its 616AM and I'm ranting already :)

I put the dish up last night, hit in the strong 90's, had the reciever outside with a tv and did some test, very cool little unit. It updated to 104 and seems to work well, I will have to do a full install this weekend, but need to buy some cable for the dish install. Then its programming time. No more rabbit ears.

Well.... it appears that the v104 software has improved the operation of my 3200! It's still not perfect, since I still get a looking for satellite message once in a while. If I turn off the receiver and turn it on, it disappears and I'm able to watch tv again.

I'm on my third 3200. I just got my third recently, and it is on V109. I still have the same problem, and that is that I cannot take a program guide update without the unit either re-setting, or the features slow down dramatically. I also have a 4100 which does not have any problem of this type. I'm hooked up to a SW-44, but I had this problem with my first 3200, before I even added the 82 LNB or any SW-21 or SW-44. On the counters screen on the diagnostics page, the 5th line (AC PWR/HW WD CNT) shows 36 and each time it reboots, it goes up. Anyone have any suggestions/ thoughts.

Thanks

What is a vaible replacement for the 3200? What shou;d I expect BEV to do?
I am fed up with ther un knowledgeible csr's.

I don't use the timer function but have noticed some of the issues that you have discribed. I have seen the black screen without the Bell Logo screen saver, when this happens the unit will not turn on. I hold the power button down for a few seconds until it reboots. Also, I have seen the loss of channels, to correct this I must go to the setup screen and check the switch, after this it downloads the guide data and the channels reappear.

These units are still full of bugs with the V104 software.

Is anyone using the Dish Pro Quad with the 3200? I'm using it with my receivers and I'm wondering if this is why I seem to have so many issues with the 3200. I have a 6100 and 3100 connected to the Dish Pro Quad as well and they work perfectly.

Just wondering.....

I purchased mine online through thesourcecc.com, I notice that it now says only available in store. It is a 3320 system, the price was $99.00 with dish, IR and UHF remotes and all cables etc. You can check store stock online to find one in your area, and yes mine was a new activation.
I am very pleased with my system! :p

I have sent them formal notice they have 10 working days to resolve my problem if by then they haven't resolved it or terminated my contract without penalty and with a credit for the duration of the problem I will be taking them to small claims court .

After more than a year of ownership of this machine and problems with it since day one, I find this unacceptable, on a positive note BEV did offer me a $100 credit towards another receiver, this has kept me as a customer.

I went through about 5 before I got a good one.

I have noticed that they work better on Dish Pro than Legacy.......

My 3200 has been in my basement for quite some time now(UNPLUGGED), I have always felt that if a product does not do what it is suppose to do, and do it without the hassle that most customers of the 3200 has had to go through then it should be replaced, WITHOUT QUESTION.
Expressvu, Bell, nor any of their agents have ever asked why its not plugged in, I have dropped my internet, and told them that I would consider going back with them when they fixed or replaced my 3200, I have never had any offers, about a year ago I dropped Bell as my phone company after 45 years,
(Never had a problem just price) at that time I told them my problem with my 3200 and how no one was interested in fixing it, still no one has offered any solution.
I still have a 2700, 3100, 4100, 6100, they all work well except for a little freezing on the 6100, which I can live with (Until I go HV PVR and I will then take the rest of my busniss to SC) not that they are any better, just as I would not shop in any store if I had a been sold a bad product and no one wanted to exchange it,
One would think that a company like Expressvu would look at what they have to loose with some like me and simply send me a new box the cost to them less than $30, a one time cost, I use to spend three or four times that much on long distance.
Sorry for the long rant I had not visited the board in a while and I was just wondering if they ever did get a fix for the 3200.
Thank you for any info

I think the 3200 was a wonderful machine, if you got a good one. I did. Mine has been flawless since day one, bought it for $49, biggest bargain I ever got from Express Vu.

My neighbor bought his the same time as me and has had 4 replacements, the current one is his best yet but still not perfect.

It is his only receiver and I am going to install a DP LNBF for him as soon as I can get on the roof, see if that cures things.

Has anyone tried to set up 2 UHF remotes. one on TV1 and one on TV2. Ihave a 6.0 ir/uhf pro remote. any ideas.

Thanks,

Ricky_Bobby
