Oblivion Crew...

Thats the beauty of it, and why I love single player rpgs's... you can stop any time you want. You can save whenever you want, so you never feel trapped in the game.

Never again will I play some game like WoW where I'm not allowed to stop when I want to.

Try going at night. You have to go to the very top level, on the top level i think there is only 1 guard, Armand, and he is sleeping.

23ish hours into the game, and I am loving it. It is pretty freaking sweet to play. I just love the fact that I am not stuck in the game and I can either play or not play with out having any problems.

Great game!

You guys need to get the spell "Touch of Rage". Go in a bar or somewhere populated. Cast it on the first person you see. Be prepared to sit back and laugh your ass off.

Yeah, I've been casting the spells I have (summon skeleton, fireball, healing, light) usually constantly. I switch between my sword, mace, and bow (to get blade, blunt and marksman up). My speed and agility are way ahead of my other attributes. I collect most of my shit in the wild and random containers (ingredients). It just seems everything that I seem to make is like "restore fatigue" or something. Regardless of what ingredients I use.

Im only a lvl 7 dark elf and so far I haven't found a enemy that can kill me, other than those damn spikes that come out of the walls

i'd start over. my bro told me that all the oblivion gates close if you complete the main quest which sucks cuz you wont get any sigil stones.

Do you have all four utensils... ambelic, retort... mortar... and there's one other i forget. That way you can use 4 ingredients at a time and make fancier shit.

In any case... it does take some time to get going. Like I said, after 10 or so you start to get way more powerful. I think most all of us got our asses handed to us early on, I know I did.

You have to feed to benefit the most from it, unless you refuse to feed, then you have to travel at night. The boosts for all your attributes are uber if you don't feed.
Feeding reduces your strength and whatnot a bunch, but the boost of at least 10 is still very useful. It's not hard to feed either, just go to a bum while he's sleeping, stealth-mode and click on him. One thing, if people see you, some of them have a tendancy to freak the fuck out and that's never good.

The temples are the churces dude, I know you've seen them, they are the only building taller than the castles, usually in the center of towns.

when i ride the horse i go to third person view, it just seems so much easier. There are so many better things in this game than morrowind. I just maxxed out my alchemy skill, and im only lvl 4. Grabbing any and all plants and throwing them together is fun amazingly. I just made a waterwalking potion.

its so freaking addicting. How many portals have yall closed so far?

im still riding a fucking paint horse, well, i was. i keeled it cuz i run faster. where can i get a fast horse? i mean fucking fast. i'll keel someone for a fast horse if i have to
