Oblivion Crew...

I haven't played this game in a long time, I'm tired of searching for the herbs to be let back into the Mages Guild. Helping people has become scarce, I can't find anyone to help.(I need a better fame:infamy ratio to join the Fighters Guild) Angry at the game.

Here are all the guilds Ive seen so far:

Dark Brotherhood (assasins guild)
Thieves Guild
Fighters Guild
Mage Guild

Blades (following the main storyline)
Arena

Currently im a part of Mage, Arena, and the Blades. I got the mage, arena both maxed out.

Joining the mage guild is the shit. Once you get all your recommadations in and you get into the university. They have special alters that you can create your own spells.

I made a spell that combined fire, frost, and shock and named it "Kamehameha"

Hmmm... I guess I probably would. Thats pretty steep.

At least for me, and my mage that has to shell out about 2-3k everytime I recharge my sword (about every other fight)

Thanks. What skills do I have to work at to be able to pickpocket people without them noticing? I always get caught. Sorry, I never played morrowind, so im still getting used to this.

Mages guild members can recharge them for a free. They can also be recharged with certain stones (varla stones if I remember right)

Yeah it was Morag Tong. IF you ever get sent to jail someone will run up to you, it was a dunmer woman for me, and she gave me a mysterious note. in it, you find the location and time of the thieves guild inductee meeting. its kind of a neat little quest. I have been playing an assassin for a very short time now, but I have been working on my theiving. Simply awesome, scouting someones home out, then pillaging the hell out of it. A good way to earn reputation is by selling your stolen shit to a TG fence. I'm about to restart though. I think I'd rather do a light melee fighter, scout or rogue, something like that. I really am enjoying the alchemy part of the game.

Ah I've still got the note.

(though I'm having a shitty time trying to find this park the note mentions in Waterfront. All I can find here is some huts, water... and one line of buildings.

Somebody help me,

The first boat outside of the gate to the docks in Anvil, on the quest where the lady wants you to clear her ship of all the ghosts...

I cleared the first couple levels with no trouble early on at a low level.

But those last two damn ghosts at the bottom, spectral sailors I think... I can't fucking beat them. Its like they just don't die. I've gone back at every level, I'm like 25 now... each time thinking I finally have enough new spells and weapons and stuff to do the trick. But I've tried everything, and they just never die. Anyone know what I'm missing?

I just started this game yesterday. I had to put it off due to a death in my GFs family. I think I am almost to the end of the sewers. The 'king' or 'emporer' or whatever just died but he gave me some key or jewel thing to bring to jeoffore or whatever

Should I save it there? Or will it give me an opportunity to save before I exit the sewers. Is this what everyone is talking about? I'm new to this whole series and type of game so I don't really know what I am talking about

I built my character along the lines of Stealth-Mage-Fighter.

Male Wood Elf
Specialization: Stealth
Attributes: Agility and Speed
Birthsign: Thief (+10 Agility, +10 Speed, +10 Luck)

For the 7 Skills I chose:

Marksman
Sneak
Light Armor
Alchemy
Illusion
Conjuration
Blade

Not exactly sure if all this is good or not

You will get booted from the fighters' or mages' guilds if you have a bounty on your head. If you get away cleanly from your crimes, you can stay in the guilds.
