someone definitely caught you. to check your current bounty...bring up your char stat sheet, go to your stats tab and then move all the way to the right and scroll down a little.
 
has anyone had to steal the staff from the arcane univeristy yet? i'm stuck on it, i can't even figure out how to get in the university. I need a key and not one person has a key on them..
 
I finally beat the fighters guild quest line. The game glitched me three times where I was supposed to meet someone inside Leyawiin but they werent there.
 
So how do you steal? Is it as long as no one sees you? For example, the person is in the house with you but in a different room so you loot the room they arent in?
 
I found a few in a cave near Azura's Shrine.

Supposedly it's much easier to find them with Sense Life effects. I usually wear my Grey Cowl when I'm not in cities anyways.
 
You have to go through the cave, eventually you'll come out the other end of it on a little island. Theres a stone box there that has the wood in it.
 
I've turned into a vampire and have contacted the witch who needs 6 garlic cloves, 2 bloodleafs, blood of an argonian, vampire dust, and 5 nightshades, for the cure potion.
I have done all she requested but she will not take my 2 bloodleafs, I have the guide and it gives no clue as to why she won't take them. She keeps saying "once I have all the requirements I'll make the potion"

Anybody gotten past this problem?
 
In Morrowind the assassin's guild was called Morag Tong (i think) and you would just join that. I don't know if they still have it. But if you murder someone... the Dark Brotherhood will come calling on you. I think if you join that its a pretty similar route.
 
Ya I figured that out shortly after I posted that, I'd meant to delete it.

I bought that cheap haunted one on accident... and so far its been a bit of a pain to clear. When I posted I hadn't realized it was haunted, cause they didn't come out for a few days until I actually slept there
